ReBrand the Land: Lake District

Britain’s national parks are in decline.
Not in their quality, or abundance of beauty, but in awareness and popularity.

A once celebrated collection of protected parks; showcasing the unique nature of our landscape, increasingly overlooked by the nation. And it shows, with footfall and public awareness falling year on year since 2005. A far cry from the beloved national parks of other countries.
Elevating the image and reputation of the 15 national parks across the UK has been identified as crucial to their revival.

The Lake District was my park of choice, having spent time there as a child visiting family I have an affinity with the landscape and some experience of enjoying its awe inspiring scenery.
